THE AURELIAN STANDARD
Professional Companionship contracts | Cumbernauld/Dumbarton Hub
The Guild of Care provides a dedicated, non-clinical companionship model designed for social vitality and family peace of mind. We have replaced the "care visit" with a professional partnership that prioritizes dignity and genuine human connection.
OUR CORE PILLARS
- The 2-Hour Guarantee: We have abolished the rushed 15-minute check-in. Every interaction is a mandatory minimum of two hours, ensuring time for deep conversation and unhurried engagement.
- 100% Non-Clinical Focus: By removing medical and hygiene tasks, our Community Coordinators focus entirely on your social and emotional well-being. We are experts in building friendships and preventing isolation.
- Concierge Sleep-Overs: For total peace of mind, we provide non-clinical overnight stays from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM, ensuring a supportive presence in the home.
- All-Inclusive Monthly Outings: We put you in the driver’s seat. Every month, we host a group activity chosen by our clients and fully funded by the Guild—including all tickets, entry fees, and meals.
INNOVATION & TRANSPARENCY
- The Digital Memoir: We utilise innovative technology to help you record and preserve your life stories, creating a lasting legacy for your family.
- Interest-Based Matching: We don't just assign staff; we match companions to clients based on shared hobbies and life experiences to ensure instant rapport.
- Live Family Engagement: Our companion app features GPS check-ins and Live Care Logs, allowing families to view updates and engagement in real-time from anywhere.
FINANCIAL ADVOCACY
- Benefit Navigation: We don't just signpost; we provide hands-on assistance. Our team will sit with you to help complete DWP Attendance Allowance applications, aiming to secure up to £108.55/week to help fund your lifestyle.
- Is Your Loved One Safe? Why ‘Supervision’ is the Key to Unlocking Support.
- We often think of Attendance Allowance as something only for those who need physical care—help with dressing or washing. But for many families in Cumbernauld and Dumbarton, the real need is Safety.
The DWP provides a specific fund for "Supervision." If your loved one is physically capable but could be at risk if left alone, they are likely entitled to £76.70 or £114.60 every single week.
Does your loved one need someone to:
Prevent Falls? Someone to walk with them to ensure they stay steady on their feet?
Manage the Home? Ensure the hob is off, the door is locked, and the house is secure?
Provide Emotional Security? Reducing the anxiety and confusion that comes with being alone?
Attendance Allowance is NOT means-tested. Their savings and pension do not matter. This money is designed to pay for the exact professional safeguarding and companionship provided by our Lifestyle Envoys.
